Preferred Experience: * Experience working with CDC or public health organizations. * Familiarity with agile development methodologies. * Knowledge of public health data privacy and security standards. Education & Training: * Bachelor's degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction, Computer Science, or a related field (or equivalent work experience). * Master's degree in a relevant field preferred. ## Description * Contribute to the UI/UX design efforts for the project, focusing on creating innovative, 508-compliant, user-centered designs that align with public health goals and requirements. * Collaborate with project managers, developers, business analysts, and stakeholders to understand project objectives, user needs, and technical constraints. * Conduct user research, including interviews, surveys, usability testing, and data analysis to inform design decisions and ensure that designs meet the needs of the target audience (e.g., healthcare professionals, government agencies, the general public). * Develop wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity mockups for web and mobile applications, ensuring consistency with established design systems and best practices. * Create user flows, information architectures, and interaction models that improve usability and accessibility for all users. * Ensure all designs adhere to CDC standards, accessibility guidelines (WCAG), and federal requirements. * Review and iterate designs based on feedback from stakeholders and usability testing results. * Work closely with developers to ensure the successful implementation of designs, and assist in troubleshooting design-related issues during development and QA phases. * Stay updated on design trends, tools, and technologies, as well as CDC and public health-related regulatory changes, to apply best practices in the design process., What's your citizenship / employment eligibility?* What's your highest level of education completed?* College or University* Are you 18 years of age or older?* LinkedIn profile URL: Desired salary* Earliest start date?* References: Please enter names and contact information: Are you legally eligible for employment in the United States?
