## Description

Job Title: Senior Linux Technical Lead

Location: Antwerpen

Project Duration: ASAP - 31/08/2027

Key Responsibilities:

Technical Leadership

 * Provide technical leadership and guidance to the Linux team.
 * Define and drive best practices for Linux platform operations, maintenance, security, and lifecycle management.
 * Support complex troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and incident resolution.
 * Act as a senior escalation point for critical Linux-related issues.

Operational Excellence

 * Help organize and structure the operational activities of the Linux team.
 * Improve incident, problem, change, and capacity management practices.
 * Drive operational metrics, reporting, and continuous improvement initiatives.
 * Improve service reliability, availability, and operational efficiency.
 * Support the creation and maintenance of operational documentation, runbooks, and knowledge management practices.

Team Coaching & Leadership

 * Lead by example and foster a culture of accountability and ownership.
 * Coach and mentor Linux engineers on operational excellence and technical best practices.
 * Act as a trusted advisor to management and stakeholders.
 * Build strong collaboration across infrastructure, security, cloud, and application teams.

Automation & Continuous Improvement

 * Identify opportunities to automate repetitive operational tasks.
 * Reduce operational toil and improve overall platform stability.
 * Promote proactive monitoring, observability, and preventive maintenance.
