## About the Role

* Real BMC Helix ITSM engineering experience, not administration alongside another role
 * Solid CMDB and configuration management practice
 * ITIL grounding, and ideally the certification to go with it
 * The professional certifications the requirement asks for, BMC Helix and ITIL among them, Practical detail
 * Contract engagement, initial phase of six to twelve months
 * An active security clearance is required for this role

## Description

* Engineering and maintaining the BMC Helix ITSM platform and its configuration management database
 * Keeping the CMDB accurate: data model, relationships, reconciliation and the health of the records themselves
 * Supporting incident, problem, change and service request processes as the platform owner rather than as a user
 * Working with the service owners on continuous service improvement
 * Documenting what you build to a standard that survives a handover
