Here's what else you'll bring: * Education/Certifications: Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering or similar engineering degree from an ABET accredited university. * Years of Experience: Minimum of 10 years of Product Development and leadership experience in automotive industry, experience including 5 years in Interiors * Communication: Strong written and verbal communication skills * Strong background in product design, analysis, and development required * Strong organizational, leadership, and communication skills required * Knowledge of part capability studies, statistical analysis, and FEA required * Knowledge of CATIA V5/V6, Team Center, MS Office required * Substantial knowledge in DFMEA/PFMEA, DVP&R, DP's, CAE, & GD&T * Strong Knowledge of Injection molding, and material properties * Strong Knowledge of FMVSS Regulations Related to Interiors * Strong Knowledge of Fasteners * Experience working with Product Design Office * Experience with Shainin Red X and Kepner-Tregoe Reactive Problem solving tools * Experience with Design for Sigma (DFSS) using proactive quality tools Result oriented, energetic self-starting leader with ability to direct cross * -functional teams ## Description Become part of an iconic brand that is set to revolutionize the electric pick-up truck & rugged SUV marketplace by achieving the following: * Assume responsibility for the design release of the Interior Cockpit System including Door Trim components/assemblies and their integration into the vehicle.
