## Description

Experteer Overview As a Senior Backend Engineer at Turnitin, you will help build scalable shared backend services in Java and serverless environments to power our education platform. You'll work within the shared services team to enable reliable, high-performing applications while collaborating with Architects, PMs, and engineers across locations. You'll also mentor juniors, contribute to API design and CI/CD, and help optimize systems for cost and performance. This remote-first role offers meaningful impact on global education and opportunities to shape foundational tech that serves educators and learners.
