* 3 or more years of experience in network security administration and enterprise firewall management.
 * Proficiency in Palo Alto next-generation firewalls, security policies, and site-to-site VPNs.
 * Experience with Cisco ASA firewall configuration, rule management, and troubleshooting.
 * Experience in network infrastructure modernization, End-of-Life (EOL) hardware replacement, and refresh cycles.
 * Experience with network security compliance standards including IRS, FBI, and CJIS requirements.
 * Experience in routing protocols, subnetting, NAT rules, and OSI layer troubleshooting.
 * Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

## Description

* Execute Firewall Service Requests (FSRs), formal change requests, and break-fix ticket resolutions.
 * Configure, maintain, and troubleshoot Palo Alto next-generation firewalls and Cisco ASA appliances.
 * Implement security zones, NAT rules, threat prevention profiles, and site-to-site IPSec VPN tunnels.
 * Lead hardware refresh initiatives, decommissioning End-of-Life (EOL) network devices safely.
 * Apply security baselines and network controls to comply with federal regulations and audit standards.
 * Participate in weekly on-call rotations to respond to after-hours network security incidents and outages.
 * Document firewall change logs, network topology updates, and standard operating procedures.
