We are seeking a talented Full Stack Software Engineer who is passionate about building scalable systems, solving complex technical problems, and leveraging modern AI tools to accelerate development. This role is primarily focused on backend engineering, with occasional frontend development responsibilities. The ideal candidate brings strong Python and AWS experience, excellent software engineering fundamentals, and hands-on experience using AI-powered coding tools to improve productivity, accelerate delivery, and solve engineering challenges. This is an opportunity to contribute to a greenfield modernization initiative while working alongside a highly collaborative engineering team embracing modern development practices. What You'll Do * Design, develop, and maintain backend services, APIs, and integrations using Python. * Build scalable, secure, cloud-native applications on AWS. * Participate in the design and development of a next-generation platform modernization initiative. * Partner with product owners, architects, and engineers in an Agile environment to deliver high-quality solutions. * Leverage AI-assisted development tools to accelerate coding, testing, debugging, documentation, and solution delivery. * Contribute to API design, service architecture, and cloud infrastructure decisions. * Support frontend integrations and occasionally contribute to user-facing applications built with React and related technologies. * Participate in code reviews, technical design discussions, and engineering best practices initiatives. * Reverse engineer and modernize legacy business logic where required. * Help improve engineering velocity through automation, AI-assisted workflows, and continuous improvement practices. * Deliver features and enhancements within an iterative two-week sprint cadence., This team actively embraces AI-assisted software development and views it as a core engineering competency.
