Experteer Overview In this role you will lead the Cloud and DevOps foundations for a large enterprise, shaping a modern hosting environment used across all Ares applications. You will be a hands-on software engineer who also steers multiple crews, driving engineering excellence and scalable infrastructure. The position blends deep technical work with strategic leadership to deliver robust cloud and DevOps capabilities in a financial services context. You will partner with cross-functional teams to raise engineering productivity and impact. Compensation / Benefits * Agile engineering management across multiple crews (~40+ engineers) * Lead Cloud and DevOps crews to build a modern hosting environment for all Ares applications * Curate cloud services and develop DevOps pipelines to improve software engineering for all engineers Tasks * 15+ years of software engineering experience * Deep experience with Kubernetes and Terraform * Experience building and operating large-scale DevOps a
environment * Familiarity with applying AI to software engineering * Experience managing teams of 50+; managing 100+ a bonus * Proficiency in multiple programming languages * Experience deploying software in cloud environments (Azure a bonus) * Typically the most technical person in previous roles Key requirements * Comprehensive Medical/Rx, Dental and Vision plans * 401(k) with company match * Flexible Savings Accounts (FSA) * Health Savings Accounts (HSA) with company contribution * New parent leave * Mental health app and wellbeing tools
