Full autonomy. Own things end to end often taking on scope outside your core role without being asked to get things done. * Velocity. We drive everything forward as fast as possible. * First principles. Challenge every assumption. Zero analogy thinking, no egos, the best idea wins. * Love of the game. The frontier of AI is the most interesting problem of our time. We put in long hours at high intensity to push the frontier forward. Role Scope * Build the software behind the infrastructure model: services, APIs, and pipelines making the design data programmable. * Ship generative tooling: layouts, routings, and configurations produced from rules and the model, not manual drafting. * Integrate the design stack: CAD and BIM platforms, PLM, and the companys data layer speaking one language. * Own the model data at scale: versioning, validation, and queryability across gigawatts of design. What Were Looking For * The below is a starting point. We always make space for exceptional people, so if you dont fit this role exactly, tell us where you would. * Youve built software against CAD or BIM platforms or engineering data. * Youve shipped automation that replaced manual design work. * You handle geometric and graph-shaped data competently. * You write production code and integrate messy vendor APIs. * You work embedded with engineers as your users. * Bonus: Revit, Tekla, or Forge APIs. IFC toolchains. Computational geometry. Rust, C#, TypeScript, or Python. ## Related Videos - [Why Your AI Agent Keeps Hallucinating Your Data: Building Deterministic Context Layers](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/videos/2055-why-your-ai-agent-keeps-hallucinating-your-data-building-deterministic-context-layers) - [Do TypeScript without TypeScript](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/videos/327-do-typescript-without-typescript) - [Model Based Systems Engineering in an Agile Product Development Process](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/videos/68-model-based-systems-engineering-in-an-agile-product-development-process) - [How to govern Vibe Coding for the Enterprise](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/videos/100290-how-to-govern-vibe-coding-for-the-enterprise) - [Vuejs and TypeScript- Working Together like Peanut Butter and Jelly](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/videos/127-vuejs-and-typescript-working-together-like-peanut-butter-and-jelly) - [Program your infrastructure with CDK and TypeScript](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/videos/144-program-your-infrastructure-with-cdk-and-typescript) ## Related Articles - [Highest Paying Tech Companies for Developers](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/magazine/220-highest-paying-tech-companies-for-developers) - [Dev Digest 120 - Apple and peers](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/magazine/455-dev-digest-120-apple-and-peers) - [What is Software Engineering?](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/magazine/289-what-is-software-engineering) - [The 12 Best Jobs for Software Engineers](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/magazine/401-the-12-best-jobs-for-software-engineers) - [Dev Digest 132 - Binging WADFlix?](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/magazine/473-dev-digest-132-binging-wadflix) - [How We Built a Worry-Free System That Runs for 10+ Years – And What We’d Do Again](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/magazine/751-how-we-built-a-worry-free-system-that-runs-for-10-years-and-what-we-d-do-again)
