## About the Role

3+ years of system administration experience, including at least 2 years in a bare-metal or dedicated server environment.
Strong Linux knowledge (Debian, Ubuntu, CentOS, RHEL).
Experience with hardware-level management (IPMI, iDRAC) and server orchestration.
Proven troubleshooting and problem-solving skills for complex issues.
Experience with automation tools (Ansible, GitLab CI/CD; Puppet is a plus) and scripting (Bash, Python, or similar).
Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools (Grafana, ELK, Graylog).
Fluent english to communicate with the team
Team player with strong communication skills, adaptability, and a self-driven mindset.
Desirable Experience:
Containerization/virtualization technologies (Proxmox, Docker, Kubernetes).
SQL databases (MariaDB, MySQL, Postgres).
Networking protocols (TCP/IP, BGP, DHCP, PXE) and storage solutions (Ceph).
Relevant Linux or cloud computing certifications.

This platform delivers high-performance computing and storage solutions for our customers and is a key part of IONOS infrastructure.You will work on designing, implementing, and maintaining the BM platform while collaborating with multiple teams to ensure stability, security, and scalability.
