The Library Support Backend Developer (Senior / Intermediate) with an API focus is responsible for providing advanced backend software engineering support for PubAg APIs and related AI-enabled data services. This role involves developing and maintaining microservices, automating metadata ingestion workflows, and modernizing scientific publication ingest systems to support AI tools and internal library workflows. Responsibilities:

 * Design and develop API-driven backend services.
 * Enhance PubAg API capabilities for AI consumption.
 * Develop and maintain microservices architectures.
 * Support automated metadata ingestion and processing.
 * Design workflow enhancements and automation solutions.
 * Maintain technical documentation and data models.
