## About the Role

* Proven experience as a Systems Administrator or in a similar role, with a strong background in managing IT infrastructure.
 * In-depth knowledge of operating systems (e.g., Windows, Linux), network administration, and virtualization technologies.
 * In-depth knowledge of AWS Cloud technologies.
 * Strong understanding of cybersecurity principles and best practices.
 * Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues.
 * Strong communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
 * Relevant certifications (e.g., AWS Certified SysOps Administrator, AWS Associate Solutions Architect, Microsoft Certified: Windows Server Hybrid Administrator, CompTIA A+) are highly desirable.
 * Must have flexible availability to participate in a 24/7 on-call rotation and support after-hours system maintenance as required.

## Description

The Junior System Administrator must report to PCI headquarters in Norman, OK.
Responsibilities:

 * Implement robust IT infrastructure solutions, including servers, networks, and storage systems.
 * Develop and deploy system configurations and software updates to ensure optimal performance and security.
 * Collaborate with other IT professionals and stakeholders to gather requirements and design system architecture that meets business needs.
 * Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues to minimize downtime and ensure continuity of operations.
 * Perform regular system maintenance tasks, such as backups, patch management, and system upgrades.
 * Respond to and resolve complex technical issues in a timely manner, providing expert-level support to end-users.
 * Implement and maintain security protocols to protect the organization's data and IT infrastructure from threats and vulnerabilities.
 * Ensure compliance with security and regulatory frameworks, such as SOC 1/SOC 2 and FISMA requirements.
 * Conduct regular security assessments and audits to identify and mitigate risks.
 * Create and maintain detailed documentation of system configurations, procedures, and troubleshooting steps.
 * Generate regular reports on system performance, security incidents, and project progress.
 * Provide training and support to IT staff and end-users on system functionalities and best practices.
