## About the Role

This role is ideal for someone who has owned real-world Kubernetes platforms, understands the operational complexity of running distributed systems in production, and has strong experience with GitOps-based deployment workflows., Qualifications Strong hands-on Kubernetes production experience.
Advanced Kubernetes knowledge, including deployments, services, ingress, config maps, secrets, RBAC, network policies, probes, HPA, and storage.
Strong GitOps experience, with Flux or Argo CD.
Strong CI/CD experience using GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Jenkins, CircleCI, or similar platforms.
Experience with Helm and/or Kustomize .
Strong Linux systems, networking , and troubleshooting skills.
Experience with cloud infrastructure, preferably AWS , including EKS, IAM, VPC, Route 53, ALB/NLB, S3, RDS, or CloudWatch.
Infrastructure as Code experience using Terraform or similar tools Strong scripting skills in Bash, Python, Go, or similar languages.
Experience with observability tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, OpenTelemetry, Datadog, New Relic, Better Stack, or similar.
Ability to troubleshoot complex production issues across application, infrastructure, and networking layers.
Strong written communication skills, especially for runbooks, architecture notes, and operational documentation.
Nice to Have Service Mesh experience (Istio, Linkerd, Consul).
Secrets Management experience (Vault, External Secrets, Sealed Secrets).
Platform Engineering experience.
Multi-region architectures.
High Availability and Disaster Recovery solutions.
Microservices and Distributed Systems experience.
Incident Management and Postmortem practices.
SRE practices and SLO-based operations.

## Description
