Ability to apply critical thinking and analytical skills to recommend creative solutions to business and technical challenges History working with teams responsible for data intense user interfaces Ability to immerse oneself in an industrial software market, and quickly add value to a project Experience and demonstrated skill in organizing and articulating complex technology concepts Ability to simplify and standardize complex concepts and processes Passion for solving problems, executing ideas, and delivering tangible solutions Motivated and works independently, able to strategically define what BA deliverables would best support a project Experience in applying continuous process improvement management ## Description The role of Digital Business Analyst will have primary responsibility for leading the requirements gathering process and working as a liaison to understand the business objectives of internal and external customers. This role is responsible for working with the teams in crystallizing the problem definitions and product solutions that provide value through people, process, and technology that enable customers to achieve their goals. The Digital Business Analyst will work closely with product owners, designers, software engineers, scrum masters, and quality assurance teams to understand, analyze, and translate business and design requirements into functional specifications and validated acceptance criteria that support Product Owner authored user stories This role will interface with a variety of end users, stakeholders, and subject matter experts who work together to succeed as one team. What You Will Do: Understand customer and business objectives, challenges, and user workflows to help define valuable product features. Incorporate feedback from customers, end users, and key stakeholders to continuously improve product value. Lead the creation and maintenance of functional specifications by ensuring business and functional needs are clearly documented, validated, and ready for development. Create and maintain functional and UI component specifications that support consistent understanding across engineering, design, and quality assurance. Own functional acceptance testing and support user acceptance testing by validating that implemented solutions meet defined requirements and business expectations prior to release into production. Partner closely with Product Owners to support backlog refinement through requirements clarification, impact analysis, and validation of acceptance criteria. Collaborate across multiple teams to ensure a shared and consistent understanding of requirements and expected outcomes Provide ongoing analysis and requirements support to product owners, designers, developers, engineers, scrum masters, and quality assurance team members to ensure shared understanding and delivery alignment.
