In lieu of a degree, a combination of experience and education will be considered. * Strong Python development skills, including building and consuming REST APIs. * Front-end development for internal tools and dashboards (HTML, JavaScript, and CSS; a modern framework such as React is a plus). * Experience building business intelligence dashboards and operational or financial reporting (with a tool such as Power BI, Tableau, or similar) is strongly preferred. * Experience designing relational databases and writing SQL, and comfort building data pipelines from multiple sources. * Experience integrating with third-party platforms via API keys, OAuth, or service accounts, and handling authentication securely (no stored end-user credentials). * Ability to analyze possible solutions, apply appropriate judgment and precedent, and solve moderately complex problems independently. * In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, Outlook). * Strong organizational skills with an inquisitive mindset and a bias toward shipping working tools. * Advanced math skills, with the ability to work with percentages, rates, and other financial-related calculations. ## Description As a CBRE Application Developer, you will design, build, and maintain in-house tools and programs that support day-to-day operations and finance. This is a build-and-own role: rather than configuring purchased software, you will develop custom applications, integrations, and reporting to meet business needs. You will also build the business intelligence behind these tools: the dashboards, metrics, and reporting that operations and finance rely on day to day, from performance tracking to cost, budget, and forecasting.
