## About the Role

* Experience with iOS services or distributed systems
 * Solid understanding of networking, async/concurrent programming, and performance tuning on iOS
 * Ability to understand the operational aspects of your system and may participate in incident or hotfix investigation and resolution
 * Ability to collaborate and work well with others
 * Proven track record of shipping consumer iOS features end to end, * BS/BA degree in a technical field such as Computer Science or equivalent years of experience
 * 1+ years of post-Bachelor's software development experience; or Master's degree in a technical field

## Description

* Improve reliability, latency, and performance of chat and media delivery on iOS
 * Collaborate with product, design, and backend teams to define and execute roadmap
 * Instrument, analyze, and A/B test features to drive messaging engagement and DAU
 * Uphold code quality, testing, and observability for a large-scale iOS codebase
