The ideal candidate will be responsible for administering and supporting Linux servers, managing virtualization environments, and ensuring system performance and security. This role requires expertise in automation, troubleshooting, and maintaining compliance with cybersecurity standards. Responsibilities * Administer and support Linux servers (RHEL, Rocky Linux, Ubuntu, CentOS). * Install, configure, patch, and upgrade operating systems and applications. * Manage virtualization environments such as VMware and Linux-based virtual machines. * Monitor system performance, availability, capacity, and security. * Implement and maintain backup, disaster recovery, and business continuity solutions. * Configure and manage storage systems, file systems, and SAN/NAS technologies. * Support automation efforts using scripting languages such as Bash, Python, or Ansible. * Troubleshoot hardware, operating system, network, and application issues. * Maintain user accounts, permissions, and authentication services including LDAP and Active Directory integration. * Support cloud services and hybrid infrastructure environments. * Ensure compliance with cybersecurity policies and industry best practices. * Create and maintain technical documentation, system diagrams, and operational procedures. * Participate in after-hours maintenance activities and on-call support rotations as required., Use of Artificial Intelligence (AI): We may use Artificial Intelligence (AI) to support parts of our hiring process, including sourcing, screening, and evaluating candidates.
