## About the Role

* A bachelor's degree (or higher) in geography, GIS, planning, history or related field and two (2) years of progressive relevant professional experience, * If no degree, must have at least six (6) years of relevant professional experience, * Proficiency in ESRI GIS software and related tools (ArcGIS Pro, Experience Builder, Survey 123, Field Maps, Story Maps)
 * Experience collecting and managing geospatial data
 * Supporting field data collection workflows, including form configuration, data synchronization, troubleshooting, and incorporation of field-collected data into project database
 * Proficiency in cartographic principles, map design, and visualization techniques
 * Experience with local government municipal GIS projects and clients (public works, utilities, community development)
 * Ability to interpret technical drawings, plans, as-built records, and other source documentation

## Description

* Utilizing ESRI GIS software to manage, analyze, and visualize data
 * Publishing, configuring, and maintaining web maps, hosted feature layers, dashboards, and GIS applications in ArcGIS Online or ArcGIS Enterprise
 * Conducting spatial analysis and applying geoprocessing techniques to support municipal projects
 * Creating high-quality maps and interactive web applications for presentations and reports
 * Collaborating with team members to design and maintain geospatial databases, ensuring data integrity and efficient data retrieval
 * Assisting in the development and implementation of geospatial workflows and standards
 * Staying up to date on the latest GIS technologies, tools, and methodologies
 * Effectively communicating GIS findings and analysis to both technical and non-technical stakeholders through written reports and presentations
 * Providing GIS technical assistance and basic training to project teams and end users

This position may require work to be performed on-site at a project site. Some travel is required.
