General Networking: foundational knowledge of routing protocols, subnetting, OSI model ETC.. ## Description The objective of this engagement is to provide specialized network and cyber Security administration support to ensure state agencies maintain secure, compliant, and modern network infrastructures. This role focuses on the mitigation of operational challenges, hardware lifecycles, and the execution of critical security requests. 2. Scope of Services The Contractor shall perform network security tasks for various state agencies, specifically focusing on: * Administrative Daily Responsibilities: Review and execution of Firewall Service Requests (FSRs), break-fix tickets, and formal change requests. * Infrastructure Modernization: Facilitating the decommissioning and "refresh" of End-of-Life (EOL) hardware on a recurring basis. * Compliance Maintenance: Implementing security controls and configurations to ensure agencies remain in alignment with IRS, FBI, and CJI compliance standards. * Hardware Administration: Technical configuration and management of Cisco ASA and Palo Alto firewalls. 3.
