The candidate should be familiar with and device provisioning processes involved in manufacturing., 3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience - 3+ years of non-internship design or architecture (design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems experience - 3+ years of embedded firmware development experience - Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field - 3+ years of hands on experience on networking and/or consumer devices using embedded Linux, Yocto, and/or Real Time Operating Systems (RTOS) Preferred Qualifications - 3+ years of full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations experience - 2+ years of experience in manufacturing diagnostics through production phases like Hardware Validation Testing (HVT), Engineering Validation Testing (EVT), Device Validation Testing (DVT), Production Validation Testing (PVT) ## Description We are looking for an Embedded SDE to lead platform specific projects and initiatives on Satellite, Ground Systems and Customer Terminals., As a software development engineer you will be responsible for leading the design of embedded software used in the Amazon Leo products. You will work in a collaborative environment with teams inside and outside of Amazon. You will mentor a team of software engineers on best practices while you guide your software designs from requirements gathering through mass production.
