In this role, you will provide senior technical leadership across the full solution lifecycle, partnering with business stakeholders, internal IT teams, system integrators, Microsoft, and third-party vendors. You will help ensure that platforms, integrations, data flows, and supporting processes are scalable, secure, maintainable, and aligned with Shimadzu's business objectives and IT standards. Your expertise in Dynamics 365, Power Platform, solution architecture, and stakeholder collaboration will directly support the effectiveness of teams across Sales, Service, Operations, Compliance, and IT. JOB FUNCTIONS INCLUDE, BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO: Solution Design & Technical Leadership: * Lead technical solution design for Microsoft Dynamics 365 Sales, Field Service, and related Power Platform initiatives. * Translate complex business and technical requirements into scalable, secure, maintainable, and supportable solution designs. * Provide senior technical leadership from discovery and design through deployment, stabilization, and continuous improvement. * Review and validate configurations, customizations, integrations, data migration approaches, technical deliverables, and implementation recommendations. Implementation Quality & Governance: * Guide configuration and customization decisions by balancing functionality, cost, maintainability, security, user experience, supportability, and risk. * Lead technical workshops, design reviews, backlog clarification sessions, solution walkthroughs, testing-readiness reviews, and post-deployment stabilization activities. * Support platform governance for environment management, application lifecycle management, DevOps processes, deployment pipelines, integrations, APIs, data flows, security roles, release management, and solution administration. * Promote reusable design patterns, configuration conventions, technical documentation standards, and implementation best practices. Stakeholder & Vendor Collaboration: * Serve as a trusted technical advisor by presenting solution options, recommendations, risks, impacts, and implementation considerations to technical and non-technical stakeholders. * Coordinate technical activities with Microsoft, system integrators, implementation partners, and third-party vendors while reviewing deliverables and managing technical dependencies. * Collaborate with developers, functional consultants, administrators, integration teams, business analysts, architecture teams, cybersecurity, infrastructure, data governance, and business application teams.
