Experience optimizing designs for existing products or devices ## Description Meta is seeking an experienced Prototype Build Engineer to join our team. As a Prototype Build Engineer, you will be responsible for leading the execution of prototype builds from concept through delivery, working closely with internal and external partners to ensure successful outcomes., 1. Partner with internal teams and vendors to plan and manage operational resources required to execute prototype builds 2. Collaborate with Research Engineers to deliver prototypes as requested 3. Resolve schedule setbacks by developing and implementing recovery plans 4. Work with program management to ensure the assembly flow is properly supported across functions to deliver material and hardware on schedule 5. Provide program status updates and risk assessments to management to support short- and long-term goals 6. Communicate prototype build plans across multiple programs 7. Establish and drive a clear plan and path forward for executing prototype builds successfully, including: 8. Defining scope, timelines, and resource requirements 9. Identifying and mitigating risks and dependencies 10. Developing and maintaining detailed schedules, milestones, and build plans 11. Coordinating with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment and collaboration 12. Ensuring compliance with company policies, procedures, and standards 13. Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including vendors, suppliers, and internal teams 14.
