As an Amazon Robotics Mechanical Engineer, you will be the Subject Matter Expert for all robotic HW systems. develop innovative custom hardware tools for our robotic solutions. The ideal candidate has experience designing and analyzing mechanical systems, enjoys analytical problem solving and possesses practical knowledge of manufacturing methods., Experience in developing functional specifications, design verification plans and functional test procedures - Bachelor's degree or above in Mechanical Engineering - Experience in Systems engineering, site reliability engineering, building and operating systems at scale, Master's degree in electrical engineering, computer engineering, or equivalent - Experience working with interdisciplinary teams to execute product design from concept to production - Experience with the project management of technical projects ## Description The Mechanical Engineer will be responsible for: - Work with cross-functional team to analyze HW systems and own reliability of these systems. - Own and run FRBs for HW systems - Working with the Operations, Manufacturing, Supply Chain and Quality organizations as well as vendors to ensure systems maintainability - Exhibit role model behaviors of thorough engineering analysis and cradle to grave ownership - Working with an cross-functional team to execute tool designs from concept to production including specification, design, prototyping, validation and testing - Writing functional specifications, design verification plans, and functional test procedures ## Related Videos - [Robots are coming into the wild!
