 * Expert knowledge of SQL Server 2012 and above.
 * Strong Oracle 10g and above administration experience.
 * Experience with database design, schema development, and optimization.
 * Strong database performance monitoring and tuning experience.
 * Experience conducting SQL code reviews.
 * Experience creating and maintaining database administration documentation and procedures.
 * Strong knowledge of relational database design principles.
 * Ability to independently troubleshoot and resolve complex production database issues.

Preferred Qualifications

 * Azure SQL experience.
 * AWS database services/tools.
 * ArcGIS Server administration.
 * GIS and spatial database experience.
 * ESRI SDE Geodatabase experience., * Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
 * Excellent written and verbal communication.
 * Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
 * Strong customer service orientation.
 * Excellent planning, organization, and time management skills.
 * Ability to mentor and train technical staff.

## Description

* Perform daily database administration and operational support.
 * Design, implement, maintain, and optimize database structures.
 * Monitor, troubleshoot, and tune database performance.
 * Design and optimize database schemas to meet application requirements.
 * Perform SQL code reviews and implement best practices.
 * Support application enhancements, upgrades, and modernization initiatives.
 * Develop and maintain database administration standards, procedures, and documentation.
 * Troubleshoot and resolve enterprise production database issues.
 * Mentor and provide technical guidance to junior team members.
 * Collaborate with developers, project managers, business analysts, and data analysts to deliver scalable database solutions.
 * Ensure compliance with departmental and security standards.
