NICET is preferred. * Understanding of RF fundamentals, signal strength, amplification, antennas, coaxial cabling, and related components. * Experience using RF or signal-testing equipment is highly desirable. * Ability to troubleshoot technical issues independently in a field environment. * Comfortable working on commercial construction sites and coordinating with multiple trades. * Ability to read technical drawings, plans, and system documentation. * Working knowledge of applicable fire/life-safety, electrical, and emergency communication requirements is preferred. * Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills. * Valid driver's license and ability to travel to customer and project sites as required. ## Description We are partnering with an established fire and life-safety contractor seeking an experienced BDA / ERRCS Field Installation Technician to join its growing field operations team. This position is focused on the installation, testing, troubleshooting, and commissioning of in-building radio communication systems. The ideal candidate has hands-on experience with Bi-Directional Amplifier (BDA), Distributed Antenna System (DAS), or Emergency Responder Radio Communication Systems (ERRCS) and is comfortable working in active commercial construction environments. This is a field-based position offering long-term growth for a technician who enjoys technical installation work and wants to expand their expertise within the fire/life-safety and critical communications industry.
