We are unable to sponsor or take over sponsorship of an employment Visa at this time * Bachelor's Degree in Electrical or Electronics Engineering and 7 years of electrical/controls or electronics engineering experience; or 11 years of electrical/controls or electronics engineering experience * Ability and willingness to travel for business trips (20%), * Excellent technical knowledge of control systems for gas and diesel fueled power generation systems for continuous, standby and mission critical applications including subsystems such as switchgear, transformer stations / substations, grid interconnections and controls for island and microgrid solutions * Excellent knowledge of power generation and distribution systems * Excellent analytical abilities and creative problem-solving skills to quickly gather facts and draw conclusions when situations are extremely complex. * Excellent ability to read and interpret electrical schematics, line diagrams, ladder diagrams, point to point diagrams and shop drawings * Excellent ability to work independently and effectively with others * Excellent organization, planning and follow-up skills * Strong leadership and negotiation skills * Strong Computer Skills: AutoCAD LT, AutoCAD electrical, Programming (Programmable Logic Devices), MS Office and Bluebeam Revu ## Description This position is a technical expert leading position in the researching, designing, and development of new products and interfacing the control systems related to systems operation.
