## Description

We are seeking a Cyber Security Administrator to provide specialized network and cybersecurity administration support for state agencies. The consultant will help maintain secure, compliant, and modern network infrastructure while addressing operational challenges, hardware lifecycle requirements, and critical security requests., * Review and execute Firewall Service Requests (FSRs), break-fix tickets, and formal change requests.

 * Provide day-to-day administration and support for network security infrastructure.
 * Support infrastructure modernization initiatives, including the decommissioning and refresh of End-of-Life (EOL) network hardware.
 * Implement and maintain security controls and configurations to support compliance with IRS, FBI, and Criminal Justice Information Services (CJI) requirements.
 * Configure, administer, troubleshoot, and manage Cisco ASA and Palo Alto firewalls.
 * Perform firewall rule management, security policy updates, NAT configuration, VPN support, and troubleshooting.
 * Investigate and resolve network security incidents and operational issues.
 * Participate in scheduled maintenance activities and emergency response as required.
 * Maintain accurate documentation of network security changes, configurations, and operational activities..
