## About the Role

* Active Secret Security Clearance.
 * Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or related field; equivalent experience considered.
 * 5+ years of experience with the following:
 + Hands-on experience with Appian custom development and process automation.
 + Experience developing and maintaining API integrations, including REST services.
 + Experience performing unit testing and supporting quality assurance activities.
 + Knowledge of the software development lifecycle (SDLC).
 * Experience working in Agile environments.
 * Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
 * Ability to work effectively in a remote team environment., * Appian Certified Developer, Senior Developer, or Lead Developer certification.
 * Experience developing enterprise workflow and business process automation solutions.
 * Experience with DevSecOps, CI/CD pipelines, and automated deployments.
 * Experience with SQL and relational databases.
 * Experience supporting federal government programs.

## Description

* Design, develop, and maintain custom applications using the Appian platform.
 * Enhance an existing Appian solution and implement new functionality based on business requirements.
 * Collaborate with functional and technical teams to design and deliver effective solutions.
 * Develop and maintain integrations using REST APIs and web services.
 * Configure Appian process models, interfaces, records, reports, and business rules.
 * Participate in Agile ceremonies, including daily stand-ups and sprint activities.
 * Perform unit testing and support system and user acceptance testing.
 * Troubleshoot and resolve application and performance issues.
 * Document technical solutions and follow development best practices.
 * Support application deployments and ongoing maintenance activities.
