This includes managing hardware, networks, software, and cloud-based solutions to ensure the stability, scalability, and security of the state's IT environment. The IT Infrastructure Engineer will collaborate with other IT professionals, departments, and external vendors to support the state's technology initiatives and ensure seamless integration of infrastructure systems., Design, configure, and implement IT infrastructure solutions, including networks, servers, storage, and cloud platforms, to meet the state's technological requirements. Ensure that all systems are scalable, reliable, and cost-effective. Manage and maintain the state's IT infrastructure, including hardware, software, and network systems. Perform regular updates, patches, and system monitoring to ensure smooth and continuous operation of state IT systems. Oversee the state's network infrastructure, including local area networks (LAN), wide area networks (WAN), and cloud-based networks. Troubleshoot and resolve network-related issues, ensuring high availability and optimal performance. Support the state's cloud infrastructure, including cloud services (AWS, Azure, or others), ensuring that cloud resources are properly provisioned, configured, and maintained to meet operational requirements. Assist with the migration of services from on-premises infrastructure to cloud environments when necessary. Implement and enforce security best practices for infrastructure systems.
