Agent guide: [/agents.md](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/agents.md). --- # Classified Cybersecurity Analyst - Top Secret - **Company:** Northrop Grumman - **Location:** Magna, UT, United States (Remote available) - **Salary:** $79,300.0 - $118,900.0 - **Contract:** Permanent contract - **Skills:** Cyber Security, Information Systems, Identity and Access Management, SAP (Applications), Security Content Automation Protocol, Nessus, Splunk - **Published:** August 8, 2026 - **Apply:** https://www.techcareers.com/job.asp?id=3347462574&tx=CT3331TTV&pt=1&aff=0B19D771-A501-4A5E-8338-2A822B784D54&utm_source=Job%20Feed&utm_medium=textkernel&utm_campaign=DE&utm_term=0B19D771-A501-4A5E-8338-2A822B784D54 ## About the Role * Master's degree with 0 years of relevant technical experience; OR a Bachelor's degree with 2 years of relevant technical experience; OR an Associate's degree, or an equivalent number of college credit hours toward the degree (minimum 60), with 4 years of relevant technical experience is required * Candidates must meet the U.S. Government 8140 requirements (8570 equivalent) for a Classified Cybersecurity Analyst - IAM level I certification (examples: Security+, CND, Cloud+) * Candidates must have a current U.S. Government Top Secret security clearance (at a minimum), to include a closed investigation date completed within the last 6 years OR must be enrolled in the U.S. Government Continuous Evaluation (CE) Program to be considered * Candidates must have the ability to obtain, and maintain, access to Special Programs as a condition of continued employment, * The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, a Security+ CE , and 3 years of experience with information assurance, certification & accreditation, and cybersecurity in JSIG classified environments * Experience in cybersecurity compliance (ex., Assessment & Authorization under RMF) * Knowledge of security tools such as ACAS, Nessus, Splunk, Trellix, and SCAP * Knowledge of security frameworks and documentation such as NIST, JSIG, DAAG, SSPs, POA&Ms, and SCTMs * SAP/SAR access is preferred ## Description * Conduct system audits and continuous monitoring activities, covering all security controls, configurations, and operational processes to evaluate the security posture of the information systems. * Perform assessments of systems and networks within the networking environment or enclave and identify where those systems and networks deviate from acceptable configurations, enclave policy, or local policy. * Perform analyses to validate established security requirements and to recommend additional security requirements and safeguards. * Assist in the implementation of the required government policy, make recommendations on process tailoring, and participate in and document process activities. * Work within strict program control processes to ensure mitigation of risks and support the Assessment and Authorization (A&A) of systems. This includes process support, analysis, coordination, security certification testing, security documentation, investigations, software research, hardware introduction and release, emerging-technology research, inspections, and periodic audits. * Support the formal Security Test and Evaluation (ST&E) required by each government accrediting authority through pre-test preparations, participation in the tests, analysis of the results and preparation of required reports. * Document the results of A&A activities, and technical or coordination activities, and prepare the Risk Management Framework body of evidence.
