Preferred Qualifications: + Familiarity with cultural resources workflows or Tribal consultation processes. + Experience participating in or supporting field surveys or site visits. + Greater than 3-years of relevant professional experience. + Familiarity with content management systems such as Box, SharePoint, or other similar software. + Basic familiarity with geospatial concepts or project tracking tools. + Demonstrated ability to build and maintain trust with Tribal partners. + Strong communication and interpersonal skills, including experience in culturally sensitive environments. + Experience supporting Tribal coordination, cultural resources work, or field-based engagement. + Ability to clearly convey information between technical teams and non-technical partners. ## Description The Cultural Resources Data Coordination Specialist serves as a liaison between Tribal Cultural Specialists (TCSs), CEMML Field Directors, and the SCOPE GIS data team. The role focuses on facilitating effective communication, supporting TCS coordination efforts, and ensuring that field observations and Tribal feedback is properly translated into requests or updates for data processing. This position is designed to support TCS engagement and field coordination-not to perform advanced GIS or data management functions., + Serve as a field liaison between TCSs and project teams during coordination, site reviews, and revisits. + Facilitate conversations with TCS personnel to ensure perspectives, concerns, and observations are clearly communicated. + Assist with planning and execution of Tribal site visits and revisits. + Work with the SCOPE data team to relay updates, corrections, and new information gathered from Tribal coordination. + Help translate field observations and Tribal feedback to ensure it is accurately conveyed and reflected in AGOL online forms, data layers, and project workflows. + Support group review sessions (e.g., Teams-based desktop analysis) to refine revisit priorities and reduce unnecessary field effort. + Maintain awareness of project status at a high level (e.g., what areas have been visited, what needs follow-up), without owning the underlying data systems., Colorado State University strives to provide a safe study, work, and living environment for its faculty, staff, volunteers and students.
