## About the Role

* Top Secret (TS/SCI) clearance with polygraph
 * Minimum 16 years of professional experience in network engineering
 * Bachelor's or Master's degree in a relevant technical discipline
 * Hands-on experience:
 + Building and securing cloud-based VPC/VNet environments
 + Configuring and hardening Linux in both virtual and physical deployments
 + Managing enterprise network infrastructure including firewalls, routers, switches, and IPS platforms
 + Deploying and supporting commercial VPN solutions
 * Demonstrated ability to independently troubleshoot complex network issues in production environments, * Experience deploying and supporting Commercial Security Algorithm (CNSA) / CNGA compliant network infrastructure
 * Familiarity with customer-specific core appliances, services, and network architectures
 * Experience operating within highly secure or mission-focused government environments

## Description

* Design and deploy virtual networks and subnets in commercial cloud platforms including Amazon Web Services, Microsoft Azure, and Google Cloud Platform
 * Configure Linux virtual machines as network appliances (e.g., routing, firewall, and traffic control functions)
 * Harden Linux operating systems and network devices to meet cybersecurity and compliance requirements
 * Configure and maintain firewalls, routers, switches, intrusion prevention systems, and VPN solutions
 * Support and troubleshoot commercial messaging applications and Android tablet devices
 * Provide after-hours and on-call support to resolve network outages and performance issues
