## Description

The Library Support Backend Developer (Senior / Intermediate) is responsible for providing software engineering expertise to enhance and maintain backend services for the Library Support System. This role focuses on improving publisher data ingest pipelines, automating workflows, processing metadata, and supporting API integrations to modernize services for PubAg and related library systems. Responsibilities:

 * Develop and maintain Python-based backend services.
 * Design and enhance workflow automation processes.
 * Support enhancements to the PubAg API.
 * Develop microservices and API integrations.
 * Maintain architecture documentation and data models.
 * Support DevSecOps practices and GitHub workflows.
 * Identify and remediate security vulnerabilities.
 * Participate in Agile project activities and technical planning.
