## Description

Experteer Overview In this role you will architect and build high-performance on-device infrastructure to enable proactive AI experiences on Pixel devices. You will design system services and APIs that leverage privacy-preserving device context, and partner with Pixel, Android OS, and AI teams to land OS-level integrations. You will optimize for low latency, small memory footprint, and power efficiency while delivering end-to-end, AI-powered features directly on-device. Compensation / Benefits * Lead architecture, design, and implementation of core on-device infrastructure powering agentic and AI-driven user experiences * Build robust system-level frameworks and IPC/APIs to feed rich device context into on-device AI pipelines * Enable multi-modal intent execution and interface with native Android platform subsystems * Collaborate with Pixel Software, Android Platform, and AI/ML teams to deliver end-to-end features for Pixel users * Ship integrated features that connect on-device AI with the native Android OS and Pixel services Tasks * Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience * 5 years of software programming in C++, Java, Python or Go * 3 years of testing, maintaining, or launching software products * 1 year of software design and architecture * 3 years of developing large-scale systems or building Android infrastructure end-to-end Key requirements * 15% bonus target * equity * benefits
