The Datacenter Operations Specialist is part of a regional team (Data Center Management - DCM) and is overall responsible for a Data Center Location. The Role: The responsibilities for this position include the following: * Interface and coordination to all external Service Providers/Vendors for Data Center Operations * Responsibility for IMAC-D services & processes * Goods Receipt handling * Data Center Capacity Management * Support of hardware maintenance activities * Data Center Inventory Management / Asset Management * Data Center access management / Access control * Data quality & reporting * Ticket handling in our Tool ServiceNow * Support global teams on datacenter architecture and process-related topics, while independently driving selected initiatives * Lead and execute datacenter-related projects for global implementation * Ensure the highest Datacenter standards of quality and operational excellence aligned with SAP guidelines * Participate in data center build-up activities including hardware commissioning, rack installation, and infrastructure validation * Coordinate with facilities and construction teams during the build-up phase to ensure operational readiness * Collaborate closely with regional DCM colleagues to share best practices and ensure consistent service delivery across locations, Qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to their age, race, religion, national origin, ethnicity, gender (including pregnancy, childbirth, et al), sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, protected veteran status, or disability, in compliance with applicable federal, state, and local legal requirements.
