## About the Role

* Solid understanding of the Java ecosystem, software engineering best practices, and the full software development lifecycle.
 * Experience integrating RESTful APIs and web services.
 * Proficiency with Eclipse IDE for development, debugging, and troubleshooting.
 * Experience with Git or similar version control systems.
 * Strong experience working with Oracle Database and SQL development.
 * Experience with enterprise messaging, queuing, or event-streaming technologies.
 * Knowledge of Apache Kafka is highly valued.
 * Experience with solutions such as IBM MQ (WebSphere MQ), RabbitMQ, or similar messaging platforms.
 * Strong understanding of asynchronous communication patterns, message-driven architectures, and distributed systems integration.
 * Proven experience in testing activities, including: Functional Testing, Integration Testing, Acceptance Testing, Mock-up Testing and Ability to independently validate and ensure software quality without dedicated QA support.

Nice to Have

 * Experience with Dynamic Application Framework (DAF).
 * Experience in Business Rule Management, including modelling, management, and implementation.
 * Certifications or training in Visual Rules or Actico Rules.
 * Experience integrating solutions with the Actico Platform.

## Description

* Design, develop, maintain, and enhance enterprise-grade Java applications.
 * Develop and integrate RESTful web services and distributed system components.
 * Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver scalable, reliable, and high-quality solutions.
 * Participate in the full software development lifecycle, from requirements analysis to deployment and support.
 * Design, create, and execute functional, integration, acceptance, and mock-up testing.
 * Analyse complex technical challenges and propose effective end-to-end solutions aligned with business needs.
