Able to engage and communicate at all levels and delivering "best in class" technical support across the aftermarket channels. Essential Technical Expertise Strong understanding of technical automotive under bonnet applications Knowledge of automotive lubricants would be particularly interesting. Experience interpreting technical documentation, specifications and performance data. Technical application knowledge across sectors such as: Passenger Car Motor Oils (PCMO) Motorcycles Electric Vehicles (EV) Commercial Vehicles Marine Bicycle Agricultural and Off-Highway Equipment Good working knowledge of additive technologies including: Fuel System Cleaners Oil Additives Maintenance Products Problem-Solving Treatments Preferred Background Academic achievement in Chemistry,
Mechanical / Automotive Engineering or a related Engineering Genuine passion for automotive technology and vehicle performance. Strong communication, presentation and stakeholder management skills. Flexible approach to office-based work and customer-facing travel when required. Advising on correct Automotive applications aligning product with specifications and applications. Investigating Technical Product issues, diagnosing root causes and recommending effective solutions. Supporting product positioning through delivering Technical Presentations, onsite training and customer engagement. Acting as a trusted technical resource across OEM, Distributor and end-user / Workshop Maintaining technical documentation and ensuring compliance with relevant industry specifications and classifications. Collaborating with colleagues across commercial and technical functions to support business growth
