Nice to have: * Experience with AUTOSAR Adaptive internals or specific functional clusters (e.g., Communication Management, Execution Management, Diagnostics, Health Management). * Experience with embedded systems or C programming. * Advanced IPC experience using Protobuf or gRPC. * Strong familiarity with POSIX/Linux (system calls, runtime behavior, memory management). * Experience in real-time or safety-critical distributed systems. * Familiarity with data logging frameworks or recording infrastructure in an automotive or ADAS context. * Prior customer-facing experience as a customer or application engineer. ## Description We are looking for motivated Software Engineers to join our team building core middleware components and services for Applied's software-defined vehicle (SDV) platform. Whether you're an experienced engineer with deep systems knowledge or someone earlier in your career with strong fundamentals and a drive to learn, we want to hear from you. You'll work on challenging problems in distributed systems, high-speed networking, and vehicle communication - building the foundational software layers that make advanced vehicle functions possible. Parts of this work touch the ADAS development stack, where data logging and recording play an important supporting role. At Applied Intuition, you will: * Design and implement core platform services in C++, with a focus on multi-threading, concurrency, and performance. * Develop and extend communication middleware using protocols such as SOME/IP or DDS across the platform. * Work on system-level software within an SDV architecture, spanning functional areas such as Communication Management, Execution Management, State Management, Health Management, Diagnostics, and Logging. * Apply knowledge of networking and the Ethernet stack to ensure reliable, high-throughput data exchange. * Support data logging and recording workflows for sensor data used in ADAS development and validation. ## Related Videos - [Using WebAssembly to run, extend, and secure your application](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/videos/652-using-webassembly-to-run-extend-and-secure-your-application) - [Docker network without Docker](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/videos/1418-docker-network-without-docker) - [Boosting OpenSearch Performance: gRPC Search in Action](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/videos/1935-boosting-opensearch-performance-grpc-search-in-action) - [Car's are Technology on Wheels - Impact of Software and IT Competence in Automotive](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/videos/780-car-s-are-technology-on-wheels-impact-of-software-and-it-competence-in-automotive) - [On developing smartphones on wheels](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/videos/258-on-developing-smartphones-on-wheels) - [The best of two worlds - Bringing enterprise-grade Linux to the vehicle](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/videos/67-the-best-of-two-worlds-bringing-enterprise-grade-linux-to-the-vehicle) ## Related Articles - [How software is steering vehicle technology](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/magazine/515-how-software-is-steering-vehicle-technology) - [Where To Find Software Engineering Jobs](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/magazine/396-where-to-find-software-engineering-jobs) - [Where to Find Entry-Level Software Engineering Jobs](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/magazine/397-where-to-find-entry-level-software-engineering-jobs) - [Is Software Engineering Over-Saturated?](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/magazine/418-is-software-engineering-over-saturated) - [The Ultimate Software Engineer Career Path Guide for 2023](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/magazine/146-the-ultimate-software-engineer-career-path-guide-for-2023) - [The Most Popular IT Jobs on the Market](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/magazine/376-the-most-popular-it-jobs-on-the-market)
