## Description

We are seeking a highly skilled SQL Engineer with 7+ years of overall experience to serve as the primary Point of Contact (POC) for all SQL Server and PowerShell-related initiatives supporting a federal government client. The ideal candidate will have 3+ years of experience leading database operations and administration, with a strong background in performance tuning, automation, infrastructure scripting, and enterprise database management. This role requires expertise in driving database operations, reliability, security, and operational excellence across mission-critical systems. Maintain and optimize large-scale SQL Server environments, developing PowerShell automation solutions.
The ideal candidate is a highly skilled SQL and PowerShell professional who can independently lead projects, automate processes, optimize database performance, and serve as the organization's go-to technical expert., Act as the SME and lead for SQL Server and PowerShell projects.
Design, maintain, and optimize SQL Server databases and T-SQL code.
Perform database operations, performance tuning, troubleshooting, backup/recovery, and disaster recovery planning.
Develop and maintain PowerShell automation scripts for database and infrastructure operations.
Support database migrations, upgrades, security, and high-availability solutions.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams and provide technical leadership., Microsoft Certified: Azure Database Administrator Associate (DP-300)
Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate (AZ-104)
Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert (AZ-305)
Microsoft Certified: DevOps Engineer Expert (AZ-400)
