In this role you will work closely with vehicle software and tooling teams at OEMs and Tier 1s to ensure Applied's solutions deliver maximum impact in advancing customers' Software-Defined-Vehicle (SDV) strategies and in-cabin user experiences. Vehicle OS is Applied Intuition's software platform for SDV. It enables OEMs to modernize their E/E architecture through three interconnected areas: * Middleware & architecture Service-oriented, middleware-driven software stacks built on AUTOSAR Adaptive Platform, SOME/IP, and DDS. Helps OEMs migrate from distributed ECU architectures to zonal, centralized compute. * Developer toolchain A code-first toolchain that replaces GUI-bound configuration workflows. Engineers model vehicle behavior in Python, manage changes through pull requests, and validate in virtual ECU environments analogous to what cloud virtual engineering workbenches (e.g., AWS VEW) brought to cloud-native development, but purpose-built for automotive E/E systems. * IVI & in-vehicle infotainment Android Automotive OS (AAOS) based platform, HMI/cluster software, and intelligent in-cabin experiences including Cabin Intelligence (DMS, OMS, voice, occupant interaction). This role sits at the intersection of all three areas, and the balance will depend on the customer mix. At Applied Intuition, you will: * Act as the technical bridge between automotive customers and Applied Intuition's engineering and product teams * Support OEMs in adopting Vehicle OS: middleware stack, developer SDK, and IVI/infotainment integration * Lead technical discussions, architecture reviews, demos, and early-stage deployments with OEM and Tier 1 engineering teams * Help customers adopt Applied's code-first developer toolchain, onboarding engineering teams onto the SDK, setting up virtual ECU environments, and integrating with customers' existing CI/CD pipelines * Guide OEMs through the design and implementation of service-oriented vehicle architectures and support system integration across ECUs, domain controllers and high-performance compute * Work with customers' IVI and infotainment teams on AAOS integration, Linux-based IVI stack deployment, HMI/cluster software, and Cabin Intelligence features (driver monitoring, occupant monitoring, voice/AI interaction) * Collaborate with customers and internal product teams to triage and resolve technical issues * Manage project milestones and communicate progress across multiple customer and internal stakeholders ## Related Videos - [Software defines the vehicle: Why customers and developers will love cars even more](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/videos/1114-software-defines-the-vehicle-why-customers-and-developers-will-love-cars-even-more) - [Developer’s Perspective: Overview of the Tezos Blockchain Ecosystem](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/videos/237-developer-s-perspective-overview-of-the-tezos-blockchain-ecosystem) - [Docker network without Docker](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/videos/1418-docker-network-without-docker) - [The best of two worlds - Bringing enterprise-grade Linux to the vehicle](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/videos/67-the-best-of-two-worlds-bringing-enterprise-grade-linux-to-the-vehicle) - [Agile work at CARIAD – Creating a customer web application for controlling the vehicle ](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/videos/200-agile-work-at-cariad-creating-a-customer-web-application-for-controlling-the-vehicle) - [A Guide To Functional Programming](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/videos/408-a-guide-to-functional-programming) ## Related Articles - [How software is steering vehicle technology](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/magazine/515-how-software-is-steering-vehicle-technology) - [System change: restart as developer?](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/magazine/39-system-change-restart-as-developer) - [Where To Find Software Engineering Jobs](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/magazine/396-where-to-find-software-engineering-jobs) - [The Most Popular IT Jobs on the Market](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/magazine/376-the-most-popular-it-jobs-on-the-market) - [Is Software Engineering Over-Saturated?](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/magazine/418-is-software-engineering-over-saturated) - [Where to Find Entry-Level Software Engineering Jobs](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/magazine/397-where-to-find-entry-level-software-engineering-jobs)
