Experience with brokerage and clearing business/industry is nice to have. + Experience with Middle Office and Back Office domains is a strong plus. + Experience with messaging platforms (e.g., MQ) is a plus. + Experience with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Visio. + Experience working in remote and globally distributed business environments, employing a variety of in-person and remote collaboration tools, including email, phone, Zoom, Microsoft Teams, Azure-DevOps, etc. + May occasionally work a non-standard shift including nights and/or weekends and/or have on-call responsibilities. On-call rotation (once every 8-9 weeks). + Excellent verbal and written communication skills. ## Description As part of the Back Office development team, this Lead HP NonStop Engineer will analyze business requirements and problems and deliver quality technical solutions. This team is responsible for application development, modification, maintenance, and support for the IT securities back office. You will be actively working on BOM Corporate Actions modernization, UST netting regulatory and existing securities back-office portfolio. This individual will be involved in portions of the full systems life cycle (based on experience/skills) and is responsible for designing, coding, testing, implementing, maintaining, and supporting application software that is delivered on time and within budget. Handles complex problems independently and demonstrates analytical thinking. Responsibilities: + Develop existing applications and contribute to development of new applications by analyzing and identifying areas for modification and improvement. Develop new routine applications to meet customer requirements. + Design and perform website/applications software tests and respond to user emails to monitor, diagnose, and correct performance issues. + Monitor, identify, and correct more complex software defects to maintain fully functioning applications software. + Make recommendations for the development of new code or to reuse of existing code. + May lead assigned projects, including assigning tasks, coordinating efforts, and monitoring performance. + May recommend new technologies and methodologies to management for meeting business needs, resolving problems and exploiting opportunities.
