## About the Role

Requires 8 years of experience with STEM Bachelor's Degree, + Experience using the Linux CLI and Linux tools

 + Experience developing Bash/Python scripts to automate manual processes
 + Proficient performing Linux System Administration
 + Experience installing, configuring, and sustaining COTS/GOTS/FOSS software in a Linux
environment

 + Foundational knowledge of DevOps Tooling (e.g., CI/CD, Git)
 + Experience with Cloudera Hadoop ecosystem (NiFi, HDFS, Map/Reduce)
 + Experience with installing, configuring, and sustaining multiple NoSQL databases including
MongoDB and Accumulo

 + Experience with containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Podman, containers)
 + Experience with IaC principles and automation tools (e.g., Ansible, Salt, Puppet)
 + Demonstrated experience using system monitoring tools (e.g., Prometheus/Grafana) **

Position Desired Skills:

 + Familiar with containerization technologies such as Docker, PodMan, containers
 + Experience with the Atlassian Tool Suite (JIRA, Confluence)
 + AWS Cloud experience
