## About the Role

You will drive automation, GitOps workflows, and platform tooling to reduce toil and improve reliability.
You'll work on securing, observing and scaling a critical API platform across Azure and Kubernetes, while shaping how teams connect to AI services.
This is a hands-on, ownership-led opportunity in a global engineering environment.
Compensaciones / Beneficios * Operate and improve Kong API Gateway in production across Azure, handling incidents, changes, upgrades, security, capacity and lifecycle management * Design and implement automation and self-service capabilities for API onboarding and policy delivery * Develop platform services using APIs, GitOps, CI/CD and infrastructure as code * Establish observability across metrics, logs and traces with OpenTelemetry, Prometheus, Grafana and Elastic Stack, while enforcing security policies and identity standards * Troubleshoot complex production issues, perform root-cause analysis, and translate learnings into platform improvements * Share on-call duties and use incidents to reduce recurring toil Responsabilidades * Hands-on production experience with an API gateway * Strong production experience with Kubernetes/OpenShift and Azure (e.g., AKS) and identity services (Entra ID) * Automation skills using GitOps, CI/CD and infrastructure/configuration as code (e.g.,
