Security assessments and system hardening. Microsoft 365 security configurations. Certifications and Licenses * CompTIA CySA+ preferred * Microsoft and Industry recognized security certifications (e.g., SC-200, SC-900 SC-300, AZ-500, MS-500, BTL1, CyberOps Associate) preferred * Valid Florida Driver's License required., This position requires the passing of a level 2 background check as well as a pre-employment drug screening. A valid driver's license is required for this position. ## Description The Proactive Cybersecurity Engineer is responsible for executing and driving forward-looking cybersecurity initiatives across the organization's managed services portfolio. This role focuses on preventing security incidents, reducing risk, and improving overall security posture through hands-on technical work, structured assessments, and standardized hardening practices. The engineer plays a key role in delivering proactive security engagements including risk assessments, vulnerability management, and environment hardening, while supporting broader advisory and compliance efforts.
