PHYSICAL DEMANDS

## Description

+ Design test setups and measurement needs based on test requirements as specified by engineers
 + Maintain the lab's data acquisition software.
 + Reviewing tests and assisting test technicians in their test configurations
 + Ensure tests are performed by test standards
 + Review fire pump test data for accuracy, and determine if results are acceptable or if rework is required
 + Assist with modernizing test facility and equipment
 + Promote safe work practices
 + Enforce safety rules
 + Participate in meetings pertaining to product tests
 + Provide lab leadership as required
 + Key Relationship (internal): Development and sustaining engineering, Dept. 595 - Large Pump & Valve, (The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.  + Assemble large piping arrangements using hand tools
 + Bending, lifting, turning
 + Lifting of heavy objects within ESH guidelines

 + Working in elevated ambient and high humidity conditions
