ESSENTIAL DUTIES/PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES: + Prepare submittal documents for customers. + Develop pump layout drawings in AutoCAD. + Prepare hydraulic calculations to determine pump performance. + Provide assistance to field technicians during job startups. + Review product specifications to select pump related equipment. + Troubleshoot performance issues with rental equipment. + Perform job walks with sales personnel and answer technical questions for employees and customers + Assist with pump performance testing. + Complete Pumps 101 training. + Participate in 8 week apprenticeship in mechanical shop activities., (The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. The regional engineer will be required to travel to home office in NJ 2x per year for 1 week to work with home office engineering department. Will also need to travel to branches in region 1-2 times per month, or as projects require.
