This is a governance-focused project management role requiring deep expertise in integrated schedule management, effort-based estimation, and critical chain/critical path analysis. Key Responsibilities Governance & Stakeholder Management Executive Communication: Manage communication channels across business resources, project sponsors, steering committees, and governance councils. Project Chartering: Craft, maintain, and socialize project charters, defining scope, objectives, roles, and responsibilities. Portfolio Alignment: Communicate project scope changes, budget variances, and timeline impacts upstream to portfolio managers. Scheduling & Effort Estimation Integrated Timelines: Build and maintain comprehensive, resource-driven project schedules incorporating cross-team dependencies, effort allocations, and critical path analysis. Effort-Based Estimation: Solicit and evaluate work estimates based strictly on net effort rather than duration, ensuring accurate capacity planning and buffer management. Prioritization: Leverage critical chain insights to guide project teams and leaders on backlog prioritization and resource adjustments. Lifecycle Quality & OCM Execution Review Facilitation: Accountable for facilitating formal project governance processes, including Quality Review Boards (QRBs), peer reviews, timeline risk analyses, and lessons-learned sessions.
