This IT Systems Engineer is responsible for the implementation, administration, monitoring, maintenance, and support of enterprise infrastructure, virtualization, cloud, backup, and Microsoft platforms. This role supports highly available on-premises and hybrid cloud environments while ensuring reliability, security, performance, and operational excellence. This person will serve as a technical subject matter expert for compute, virtualization, backup, monitoring, and Microsoft infrastructure technologies, providing operational support, technical guidance, and engineering input for infrastructure initiatives while partnering with Architecture, Security, Application, and Global IT teams. This person will also implement, administer, maintain, and support Cisco HyperFlex and Cisco UCS infrastructure. They will administer VMware vSphere and ESXi environments supporting critical enterprise workloads. They will administer Microsoft infrastructure services including Windows Server, Active Directory, DNS, Group Policy, MECM, and SCOM. They will manage enterprise backup, recovery, replication, archive, and disaster recovery solutions utilizing Cohesity.
