May involve standing or sitting for extended periods, bending, climbing, using hand tools, and working around heavy equipment or machinery Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs., work at heights or in confined spaces, and perform physically demanding tasks Use of communication devices or computer systems may be required, depending on job function PPE must be worn and all safety protocols followed ## Description Big Brown Fly Ash is seeking a reliable, safety-focused, and detail-oriented Warehouse & Inventory Specialist to support maintenance and plant operations at our Fairfield, TX facility. This position is responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining the plant's warehouse, inventory, receiving, spare parts, and maintenance support systems to maximize equipment reliability, maintenance readiness, and plant uptime. This role owns the day-to-day warehouse and inventory functions, including receiving, inventory control, spare parts management, purchasing support, material staging, and warehouse organization. Working closely with maintenance, operations, purchasing, vendors, and plant leadership, the Specialist establishes standardized processes, maintains accurate inventory records, ensures critical parts, tools, materials, and documentation are available when needed, and continuously improves warehouse operations to support safe, efficient, and reliable plant performance. This is a full-time, non-exempt position. The schedule is generally day shift, Monday-Friday; occasional extended hours, weekend work, emergency maintenance support, or outage support may be required based on site needs.
