Successful candidates will have experience in one or more of the following technologies - Linux, SAN, VMWare and Windows, will be team oriented and will excel in a fast-paced and agile work environment. The selected candidate will join a highly functional team oriented to designing, implementing, maintaining and managing CARFAX mission critical systems. Daily duties will include administering Linux servers, virtual systems, operating system software, patching & updating, security administration, and integrating automation. As a System Engineer you will be involved in the day-to-day operations of the CARFAX server infrastructure that is critical to our customer base. Other duties could include determining departmental strategies, participation in development projects, server administration, incident and problem resolution, software administration, backup/restore activities and documentation.
